Jessica Murray is the founding member of the Tap Rhythm Project which began in 2006. She has traveled with her taps to in New York, Berlin and Barcelona and has been teaching rhythm tap in venues across the North West since 2004 including the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, The Lowry Theatre and Band on the Wall, Manchester. Jess is a member of AboutTime rhythm tap company and has performed as a solo and guest performer at street festivals, cabarets and concert venues such as London’s South Bank Purcel Room. She works collaboratively with artists ranging from jazz musicians to turntablists and her work seeks to push the boundaries of what contemporary tap dance can be. Jess likes to explore rhythm patterns and grooves from around the world and her class blends everything from afrobeat to hip-hop and blue note jazz.

Jess has been a guest host for London Tap Jam at Ronnie Scotts several times, and has also taught the Renegade stage for us.
