We are privileged to welcome brilliant Spanish tap dancer Rubén Sánchez García who will be teaching workshops in London for the first time! Rubén is a tap soloist with Rachid Ourandame's Contemporary Dance Company, and Cambuyon Dance Company. His brand Ruben Sanchez Dancewear sponsors tap festivals around the world, and he has taught at high-profile festivals including Tap On Barcelona.

Celebrating 10 years of amazing tap dance at London Tap Jam! Supported by amazing Barcelona-based tap dancer Rubén Sánchez at our fantastic big new venue in hip and happenin' Hoxton!
As well as being a fantastic performer, Rubén is an accomplished teacher and so he will be teaching masterclasses over the weekend, as well as appearing at the jam.
As usual, our amazing live band, The Michèle Drees Trio, will be there, joined by regular host Jess Murray and tap dancers from across the country. Get involved with your instrument/taps/voice, or just sit back and and enjoy.
From 7.15pm, Annette Walker leads the Renegade Stage with exercises for dancers new to improvisation. Bring your tap shoes!.
At 8pm the jam starts, featuring improvised tap dance and hosted by the talented Jess Murray. Musicians and tap dancers are welcome to play – just tell Melody what you want to dance to.
